... but this is the greatest sounding car of all time.
The Countach May be the quintessential poster car but the F50 is mine. It and the contemporary Ferrari F1 car were the two car posters I had on my walls as a kid and the F50 remains my ultimate dream car.

Normally I would agree with you regarding the sound, but I was just reading this:

I’ve seen the infamous S600 videos that spawned that story but hadn’t known the background before. That was a good read, thanks for sharing it, it’s a good reminder that I hadn’t check Speedhunters in a few months. Down the rabbit hole I go.

Ferrari Experience would be sweet.
The F50 sounds a lot like my favourite sounding race car, the C6R. In person, the old GT1 spec engines were beasts

It’s kind of hard to tell from a video filmed in the car, the sound isn’t coming through the way the driver hears it. My many accounts the LFA is amazing to hear but the acoustics in a cabin muffled with road and wind noise are not good. I tried my gopro out with my Z that has triple carbs and the video isn’t like what I was hearing and I borrowed a fancy mic from AV at work.

I see your F50 GT1 and raise you its contemporary, the McLaren F1 GTR
It sounds remarkably similar, when opened up to the raggedy edge. But then they are both naturally aspirated DOHC V12s revving up around 8500 rpm.
